Yaron Bloch, Chief Executive Officer

 

Mr. Bloch joined Leumi Partners in 2008 as Deputy CEO and Chief Investment Officer and was appointed CEO in January 2011 after holding key positions in the Israeli capital market. From 2000 to 2008 Mr. Bloch was an officer in the Israeli branch of UBS Investment Bank and it’s CEO since 2006. Prior to joining UBS Mr. Bloch was head of international business and brokerage at Clal Finance (previously llanot - Batucha), and before that Mr. Bloch was a senior portfolio manager at FIBI. Mr. Bloch holds an Economics BA and an MBA in Finance both from the Tel-Aviv University.

Michal Rabinovitch, Deputy CEO, General Counsel

Ms. Rabinovich joined the Legal Department of Leumi Partners in 1992 and has acted as its General Counsel since 1995. Mrs. Rabinovich is responsible for all legal and regulatory aspects of Leumi Partners' and its subsidiaries' activity. Ms. Rabinovich holds an LL.B. from the Tel-Aviv University and an LL.M. from Harvard University and is licensed to practice law in Israel (since 1990) and in the state of New-York (since 1992).

Lilach Katz, VP Finance

Ms. Katz joined Leumi Partners in 2012 and is responsible for finance and accounting at Leumi Partners and its subsidiaries as well as financial advisory supporting the company's activities. Prior to joining Leumi Partners Ms. Katz was an audit manager at KPMG. Ms. Katz is a registered CPA since 2000 and holds a BA in Accounting and Economics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Saar Avnery, Managing Director, Chief Investment Officer

Mr. Avnery has been with the Leumi Group since 2004 and joined Leumi Partners in 2008 as a senior investment manager. In 2011 Mr. Avnery was named CIO of Leumi Partners, responsible for the management of Leumi Group's strategic equity investment portfolio, the largest in the Israeli banking sector, and one of the largest and most active in the country. Mr. Avnery is a lawyer and a CPA, holds a BA in Accounting and an LL.B. as well as an MBA (Financing) and Post Graduate MBA (Banking), from Tel-Aviv University.

Ofer Grinbaum, CEO, Leumi Partners Underwriting

Mr. Grinbaum joined Leumi Partners in 2008 to lead it’s underwriting practice, after holding key positions in the Israeli underwriting market. Mr. Grinbaum started his career as an investigator with the Israeli SEC, after which he became a technology analyst at Robertson Stevens in San-Francisco. Prior to joining Leumi Partners Mr. Grinbaum was a Senior V.P. at Discount Capital Markets and Deputy CEO at Psagot Underwriting. Mr. Grinbaum is a registered CPA and holds an MBA from the University of California Davis, USA.

Shai Nevo, Deputy CEO, Leumi Partners Underwriting

Mr. Nevo joined Leumi Partners in 2008 as Deputy CEO of it’s Underwriting practice. Mr. Nevo started his career as an accountant with Ernest & Young in Washington D.C., after which he held several key positions along side Mr. Grinbaum in leading Israeli underwriting firms. Mr. Nevo is a registered CPA and holds a BA in Accounting and Business Administration from the collage of Management, Tel Aviv.

Yuval Zehira, Managing Director, Head of Mergers & Acquisitions

Mr. Zehira joined Leumi Partners in 2015. Prior to that, Mr. Zehira was Managing Director of Absolute Value, an Israeli-based boutique investment banking firm that he C0-Founded in 2009, providing advisory and investment analysis services to corporations, institutional investors and High-Net-Worth individuals. Before that Mr. Zehira ascended to become head of research at IBI following 9 year-tenure with one of Israel’s major Investment Firms. Mr. Zehira holds a B.A. in Business Management with specialization in Finance from the College of Management, Tel Aviv.

Daniel Meron, Managing Director, Head of Technology

Mr. Meron joined Leumi Partners in 2014 to lead it’s newly formed Technology practice. From 2004 to 2013, Mr. Meron established and headed RBC technology research and operations in Israel. From 1998-2004 Mr. Meron held several technology research positions with Piper Jaffray, IBI, and HK. Mr. Meron holds a B.A. in Economics and Business Administration from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Jacob Georgi, CEO, Leumi Partners Research

Mr. Georgi has been a Senior Analyst at Leumi Partners Research since 1992 and has accumulated vast experience in company valuations, financial analysis, feasibility studies and project finance. Prior to joining Leumi Partners Mr. Georgi was a partner at an accounting firm, finance manager of the AG-Tech fund and head of the audit department at Meron, Sobel, Shor & Co, CPAS. Mr. Georgi is a registered CPA and holds an MBA (specializing in finance and insurance) and a BA in Accounting and Economics, both from the Tel-Aviv University.
